The manager called me yesterday to tell me I'm already hired then she told me to go to the store on Monday to complete the paperworks, etc. What should I wear?

Everyone here has some pretty good suggestions. The ladies at the Wal-Mart Pharmacy here wear scrubs with prints on them or just plain colors. I often see one woman, who I guess is the head Parm Tech, she wears a long with coat over her scrubs kind of like a doctors lab coat. The other girls wear button up sweaters over theirs, and the youngest girl I've seen there wears dress slacks and a dress shirt. Did they mention to you if they had a dress code for the pharmacy? Maybe you should ask and see what is deemed appropriate and select what you'll wear from there. I'm sure you can dress comfortably as long as you look proffesional. Good luck with your new job, all the best! :)

Thank you! I think I'll just wear a pair of slacks and a nice blouse and blazer. :)

I would suggest a nice pair of dress slacks, and a nice shirt that is not too low-cut, or maybe even a dress. You can always talk to your boss and ask what they prefer you to wear. I know a lot of those places have a set dress-code that you have to adhere to, so you will just have to find out once you get there...

First day at work is just like going for the first day at school. It is a chance to make a good impression. Since it will also be the day when you will be briefed on what will be the things you need to know about the work, including dress code, why not go for something classic and polished? You can wear a pencil cut skirt knee-length, pair it with a nice crisp, button down shirt/blouse and topped it with a cardigan (check the weather), a pair of comfortable wedge shoes, complete your wardrobe with simple stud earrings and a clutch bag or handbag. Go for safe colors ensembles like black and white or gray...wear something you cna be comfortable with but yet presentable..Good luck.

if you're a girl then I suggest tying your hair in a bun or something up to look more professional, but I think you can dress up fairly work like? haha..anyways, once your coworkers and boss are familiar to you I'm sure you can dress any way you like, except maybe Tees. good luck with your new job

Thanks! I'm a girl but my hair isn't long enough to be tied so I'll just wear a nice hairpin. :)
