what to keep in mind if you OWN a BLOG SITE?

Hello guys, I recently created my own blog site. It's sole purpose is for personal use to post whatever it is inside my head. My videos and photos, and some of the things I wrote before. But then I also wanted to earn from my blog as well so I will also put some really interesting topics and informative posts.
I hope I will be a successful blogger someday. It is not yet too late for me to earn here because I know a lot of people are doing this stuff a long time ago and this money making scheme has already prospered.
Give me some tips guys on how to update my own blog site and all the things that I should know about it. Thank you so much.

If it's a personal blog then just post what you want to post, just make sure you don't post anything that will offend anyone ^_^; that could really lose you some readers. If it's a blog that has a specific topic or a target audience, research really helps. Research about what your target audience likes.
It also helps being organized. You don't wanna post a lot of different stuff at one time. Your readers might be confused as to what they should read and end up not reading your blog at all. Lastly, make sure to tag your posts. It makes it easier to access your blog.

Thank you for the useful advice. So far I haven't thought about the target audience that I would want. It is mainly a personal blog. But then I have posted also some informational topics there. I think i will have to sort it out then if it's mainly for personal or an informative one. Enjoy the weekend!

Hi there. I have a blog site and maybe I can share a few tips to help you out with yours. Well, when I want to write something long, I usually type it first with the help of Microsoft word. Then I check the grammar, spelling and the like then I copy paste it to the editor of the blog. Then I add pictures if necessary then post. I always carry a camera with me and I take random photos when I go out so that I can share them on my blog. Maybe you can do the same too so that you will have a lot to write about and to share with your readers. That would also help get more readers. Make your blog more interesting and traffic will come. I hope that helped.

Thank you so much. That is a nice advice to carry a camera with me. The topics then would be very realistic because it is with the usual things I always encounter in my life. Yes the first few topics that I have posted was written in MS Word so I would be able to find some typos and edit them afterwards. Have a great weekend.

I have 10 blogs, 6 of which I frequently update. For me, having a blog is a pride and a part of the investment because we can gain revenue from the blog. My tips so that you diligently to update your blog is still continue and expand your interests. Do not focus on PageRank, just write what you think

Not much knowledge in this area. Like you, even I am thinking of to create my won blog for myself with one of my friend. Please let me know your blog id so that I can find how you are prepared and accordingly I also make one for me. Once it is published, I think you can improve the same with a regular visit and from the feedback for your friends, you can expand it as per your requirements.

Hi dear,
In fact I am thinking of to develop a site plus the associated work for me from a long time. But as I am not so well aware of the design and development of sites, I need a trusted person to do it for me. I got one of my friends, a software engineer who does all these works. I managed to get a better job for him so that he is happy to do anything for me.
I think this Saturday/Sunday I will ask him about and mostly next week I think, it come up for me. Once it is up, then I will let you know and please tell your site link as well to me, so that I can see yours.

I don't have any idea how to make a blog for me. But if I will be given an opportunity to have one for me, I'll do my best to share my ideas to others and will not focus on monetizing my blog. I will try helping others through my blog.

Thank you John for the inspiring message. I really appreciate that. But I guess i will be giving up the thought of making my blog generate money because it will then be a lot of efforts to invest making that in progress.
