Attending a 8 hour training is a challenge, especially if it's at night. How do you keep yourself from falling asleep? How do you manage to stay attentive?
There would be a lot of reasons why trainees may fall asleep. Of course, one great factor is the trainer. However, not in all occasions can we change our trainer. Sometimes, we have to deal with them.
First, you have to set your goal. Make sure you always look at the reason why you are attending the training.
Second, Learn. Try to absorb as much ideas or concepts from the training.
Lastly, enjoy. You also have your classmates in the training room. Make friends with them so you can have good moments during your training!!!

Hi there! Aside from keeping myself attentive and interested in the training, I usually drink coffee to wake me up and I also drink lots of water. That way I can stand up from time to time to do some stretching and have a breather every time I go to the Restrooms. Sometimes I also take down notes so my mind stays alert even if the lecturer or instructor is starting to lull me to sleep. hehehe. Since talking with my seatmate is not encouraged, I refrain from talking and distracting the trainor but whenever there are workshops or group activities I grab the chance to "waken up" and participate. Thanks! Have a good day and happy myLotting! :D
