i don;t agree with the fact that the longer you stay in a relationship, better are the chances that it would turn into marriage. that relationship needs to actually work well so that it could turn into marriage, and there are people that get married after one year, or I don;t know...the longer you stay in a relationship, and if it doesn't work, better are the chanches that after you got married you'll also get to divorce

I would say the longer the relationship the Better are the chances of getting into marriage. For most people I've known that are married, they've been together for years before that happened. Although, I hear other stories from friends or friends of friends that they've been together for years and the relationship ended but I think the percentage of this is lower compared to the chances of those people who have married after they were on for years.

I've only been in one relationship and we've been together about 7 years now.
I don't really know what to say about "if you stay longer you'll get married". I would agree that the longer you stay with someone, the more likely it becomes that you will stay with them. However, a relationship can break at any time so I'm not really sure where that leaves you.

we've been together for five years and we're planning to get married soon.
The thing that I like in this kind of long term relationship is that you get to know the person well. For five years, I know what my bf wants and what he doesn't want. I discovered his weaknesses and his not so good attitude.
Now, I realized that when you marry someone you really have to accept who he is for long lasting marriage life. And, I do accept him already. For better or for worst. I won't have regrets later.

My present boyfriend now is my longest relationship ever. We've been together for almost 2 years now but my feelings for him is still the same, I cannot say that the longer the relationship the better it would turn to marriage because I have lots of friends that they stayed together for 5 years but they broke up. It's up to the couple on how they will make their relationship longer.
