Do you encourage this kind of people?

Hi Chaitra, I am really annoyed by these people. I really felt angry on watching the ladies beg for money with their small kids in hand, they are doing cruelty to their kids by making them naked for getting sympathy by the public especially in winter season. Many are giving money to them by seeing the plight of the child but I really get angry on them, how can they do this to their kids for money. They worn proper dress and protect themselves from the cold but just not giving cloths to their kids for getting sympathy by others. On Saturdays there is a rush by beggars as people believe that giving alms on Saturday provide special blessings so the beggars are taking advantage from this soft corner of the people. I am not providing money for them or encourage the beggars. I too give money for physically handicapped people and older people.

never...i never encourage or give anything to such beggars...but sometimes these neuter gender people behave in such a bad manner...that you have to give them so that they move ahead...it happened with me in train...he/she ...was behaving and talking in such a bad manner that i gave a note to my nephew and told him that give him and let him go...if it was road i would have waited or closed the glasses and then move away when the signals started again...but as it was train...i had no way to escape......i get very angry and feel that why police etc don't take strict action against such people who harass the travelers...

i'm all for helping people who need it bad enough, but whats the deal with women with snakes begging for money? that sounds kind of creepy to me.

hi chaitra.... me too. i also meet some beggars while traveling by my local train. they try to attract passengers as your said ways but no to them. i only give money to them who are physically challengers or very old. perhaps u have not seen the movie "traffic signal'... watch it. the real story of traffic signal. have a nice day.

I feel that these people should not be encouraged. I think so as there is a big racket behind begging. The people, including th women and children, are only part of this racket. So it is better not to encourage them even if they are handicapped.

hi,this scene is common in the city.And i do respect the person singing violin erhu and dancing in the street.bring happy for the others.The life will be better and better with a technology.A man with dream will not life relying on the others. But may be for the psychological factor,they can't get chance to work, If we give them a chance to get education or work.the city and social will be in order.

This is very common in Railway station and mostly it has been increased in the traffic signals. now days the signals stay for more than minute and they use it for granted and they target the cars mostly , by knocking the windows and asking for money. But most of them will neglect and they would approach the bikes, i have experienced like this in signals twice that too in the same place in my bike. I don't offer them anything . There is another kind also, they would wrap something around their arms and legs and ask for money. Children especially , badly dressed and ask for money, this is not good to see, this has to change, so as the country would grow .

Begging must be stopped at all costs. In India, it has flourished because of ancient beliefs that if you help a needy, you will be rewarded many folds. These are blind beliefs having no proofs. Besides, There are Gangs who kidnaps kids, make them handicapped and compel them to beg and they take away everything from these kids and only a negligible portion of the collection. So encouraging this kind of people, will definitely encorage crimes in the country and would create law and order problem. The safety and security of citizens would be greatly affected.
