Doing a favor that turns out bad

I onced asked a favor and for an advice by a friend. So I say something I thought could help her to resolve her anxiety for a particular issue. When I'm giving an advice, I always tell them, that they still have to make the decision themselves. But when we met after a couple of weeks, I stunned with what I heard from her. She's blaming me. She said that it is me who told her to say or do this and that, that caused her to be again in another dilemma. Isn't it so annoying? Have you experience to be in such situation? how do you handle it?
