My sister is moving out of my house soon (as she just got a full-time job, she starts in about 1 week and a half! Score one for her!) and will be getting an apartment with her (on-again) boyfriend. I was helping her look at a couple, and honest to god, I NEVER knew that some apartments had such GREAT amenities, like a 24 hour fitness room, sauna, pool, and billiards/game rooms! I suddenly became REALLY excited for her to move into one of these types of apartments.. so I could be over 24/7 and using their pool! LOL.
Do you have an apartment with cool amenities like this? Do you think it's worth the (inevitably extra) price you're paying for it? And what amenities do you have?

We live in a townhouse complex with clubhouse. The clubhouse a pool, a big living room for parties, a few game rooms, a gym and an aerobics/yoga area on the top floor.
But, have you heard of the saying, so near, yet so far...?
It's just a few houses down the street, but it seems too far specially during winters.
And yes, it is very expensive that sometimes I wonder if the monthly strata fee that I'm paying is even worth it.

Oh my! I am so jealous. Do you have a spare closet I could rent out, ya think? Ha ha. I can understand that if you don't use them.. it might be a waste of money. We have some pretty reasonable apartments around in the area with pools, and I feel like I would never get anything done if I had a pool in my apt complex..Just because I would spend all of my time there. lol

Our family moved out of apartment many years ago, and I really don't have any idea on those nice amenity apartment. But anyway, great for your sister, at least she has a nice environment to live for. I am living in a house right now, and I am pretty much satisfied with it.

I once lived in an apartment with all the excellent amenities. The management was excellent keeping the apartments clean and furnished too. It was close to the downtown core. So, it was very convenient to move around to business centres and major shopping malls. I enjoyed the stay there very much.

All my current apartment complex has is a pool, that is closed half the time. However, next month, I am moving to a complex that has two pools (NICE lookin ones!) a 24 fitness room, and a billiards room. I am SUPER excited! I'll have to get back to you on whether or not the I feel the price is worth it after I move in. Although, for the space I'm getting compared to the space I currently have, I'm already happy with the pricing, lol.
