Accidents do happen... what would you do if....

Hi vandana, something not of such type but quite foolish and similar(if I could say this). When I was working for my Australian Boss, he had given me a blog to read information. We used to submit articles across forums and blogs and this was a restricted site because it was from one of his close friends. No one dared to post any material from here or into this one. One day, I was reading a very interesting article and somehow, somewhere I forgot that I was on this restricted site and committed the mistake - submitted this article onto other forums and blogs..... Just a minute later I realized the error... Every one believed that it would be my last day at the office and they even arranged a small get together after office for me... But I told about this silly thing to my boss and he was kind enough to understand and the matters resolved peacefully. Many people understand and many dont. I would recommend you email to the admin and let them know of the situation... Also ask them to delete the new account that you created accidentally. That should help given the age(of your association with them) and points you have here.

I would just write to administration and explain the error to them. I'm sure they can easily delete the It seems a harmless enough error. Namaste-Anora

You can delete your account at myLot, but you are not able to create an account with another user member name : if you delete "vandana7", nobody, including yourself, will be able to create again "vandana7". It is still true for user names inactive since years, so there was no risk there.

Yeah, several times during my life. A friend I have asked to join also made a "whoopsy" similar to yours. Another mylotter advice her to delete the new registration she made. It was really a computer connection glitch. She though she was not yet registered since the system keeps telling her that she has no account with mylot yet. You got a better attitude than hers since she lost interest in continuing her membership here because of that. I guess you are a patient person.

Is mylot is allowing the account with same user name !!!! Then I should cancelled this account too.. and can choose some famous username I don't know how it happen with you but i don't think mylot can accept new user with same username. Are you sure mylot have take you as new sign up.. You must get message that Username already taken

I very often think of something that I am going to do. When proceed doing it, I manage to get caught off guard and do things I usually wouldn't do, I guess we just got to stay focused.

I hope mylot will understand your problem if you write to them in case any such deletion takes place. I usually press delete in some cases without thinking and involuntarily. Then we have trash folder hence I can revert back to the mail again.

I think no, i would rather use an option called forget password before using a sign up. If i'm not sure, whether i have an account already in that site, i would use forget password, if i am a registered member, then they would send me the password. After doing all these steps , if i find mysel unsuccessful i will go for the sign up. I will be quite sure in this process.. !!!!!!

As you said it was an accident so nothing wrong in that. I do not remember anything similar and hope your earning will grow and it will not going to be loss.

Hi,vandana7 Maybe the situation is not as bad as you think .Deleting your former ID for logging up another ?I don't think mylot is harsh that way .Just hold on for some days .

No worries, just go over and delete the other account. Ask Alice for help if you're having trouble with that. That wouldn't give me butterflies, but some things do...

Hello vandanaji You are still here intact in one piece, yes accidents do happen, some times , when i am working, there is sudden power failure, i keep working on battery, it keeps beeping and suddenly pc shuts down.. next time i open mylot, only to find i cant post comment or responses!! Hi vandana, then what happened to that account and this account? I observed on of our mylot member alice in webland i think he re-entered/joined with another name why they do i didn't understand. And you said it is only a accident. So leave it. Did you lost your earnings?
