What do you usually do on weekends?

I usually just hang out with friends and my girlfriend. Usually we do stuff that costs money, sometimes bowling, and going out to eat costs a good deal of money so yeah I would like to know some ways to save more money while still having some fun. Usually if we don't want to spend money we just play some lacrosse.

Usually we stay home and watch movies from Netflix. That is our bonding moment. But nowadays we are hooked with hiking and walking. We hardly have exercise during the week so we did hiking and we get energy for the whole week work. but though entrance is free you have to pay for parking. Sometimes we also got to the mall and walk around while eating ice cream. Maybe to avoid spending money you can got to the park then bring your own food. You can play ball or read a book or just marvel at the surroundings.

Here in the US it is virtually impossible to do anything in the city without money. I mean you can go for walks but just not really anywhere as almost everything has an entrance fee. You can with a bit of research get some free day passes to zoos, museums and things but outside of that money for food and or special areas even in the zoo and museums also. Our city is very expensive to the point that although I have lived here for all my life sometimes I wonder if I will cut it when I grow old.

I think it is the same to most of the places. Wherever you go, you have to spend the most basic expenses as gasoline, parking fees, fares for cab, train, buses and so on. In our life, we can not go away with the money. This is why, most of the Chinese's belief is related to money.
