From the scary movie I saw last night "Piranha 3D", those piranha with sharp teeth, really maw a human beings within minutes, you only left with skeleton. A special effects that scare me to go down those beach site at Spring Break. But the question remains, are those Piranha really attack humans? From what I read at local Aquarium, those Piranha doesn't actually attack human beings. Maybe under extreme condition, they might do the attack. But they won't exaggeratively eat a whole human bodies within minutes. So, what do you know about this topic in regarding to Piranha. Do they swim around the ocean and flow to the lake somewhere?

This has happened in the waters of the Paraguay river off the city of Caceres' Daveron beach, and Elson de Campos 22 years was the one of the piranha attack victim. and according to local officials, it was the first time they run into problems with piranhas in the region.

Piranhas attack only when they feel meat, if you go swimming in a suit they won't hurt you, that's what I saw on TV.

yes, quite an interesting question.. well there wont be a definite answer as sometimes parhanas are calm and somtimes they are hyper and exited... so everyone will have diffrent answers for you according to their own experinces.. although the movies OVVERR exagerate ... parhanas arnt that nasty, or they would have taken over most of the ocean or at least those areas in which they can live.

Well, they eat meat and have sharp teeth. They are like sharks, but smaller. If they are hungry, they will try to eat you, but if they are not, they'll just ignore you. Same as tigers. A wild tiger won't try to eat you if he's not hungry, but if he is...well, you probably should just hope that he's not, lol.
