People say you only got one life to live so better live it up. So typically, my life would be a routine and i would usually plan things ahead of time. But somehow, somewhere deep inside, a small part of me have always wanted to explore new things, new ideas, and just enjoy my life. So one day, I just decided to do something out of my comfort zone...something unplanned. So I just packed my bags, went to this place (alone!) where i had never been before, and where I know absolutely no one, found a place to stay in, and spent the whole week there learning about the place, the people, and enjoying the wonderful view of the mountains and beaches. It was great!

LOL! I know how you feel. Same thing happened to me a few days back and it really kills your momentum. Hmmm...I wonder how those chips tasted.

I had a lot of those times and so im trying to recall one while typing the first line for my reply to your discussion. Okay, i am so engrossed in my home-based business that the longest time i can be away from home is two hours. So one day, for some reason which i can't recall now, i closed the shop and just went to the nearest shopping mall and just tried to enjoy my time window shopping and buying something that catched my fancy. But still i have to be back in two hours.Fun it was, still though not so outrageous. (^_^)

I´m old enough to have had many adventures and old enough to have forgotten most of them. I have done several unplanned things in my last vacations and some of them agaist the suggestions of many people around me. On January 2009 I went for 3 weeks aboard a sailboat as part of the crew. It was at the Caribbean and it was my first time at sea. A couple of months ago, I went to the North of my country with a senior group. While the rest of the oldies stayed at sea level, I decided that it was a "now or never" experience to go to the Chungará Lake and see there our highest volcano, the Parinacota. I was at 4.800 meters of altitude, had a horrible headache for 3 days in spite of the guide who gave us coca leaves to chew as the aymará indians do to overcome altitude. Not bad for a 65 year old gal, I said to mtself. The picture in my avatar was taken there. Happy posting, happier living!

Love this question!lol Well when I was a teenager me and a buddy where out partying pretty hard one weekend. He got something like $9,000 he just wanted to blow on doing anything we could think of. We were only 16 at the time so it was going to be a great adventure. After going to Montreal one night for a party, we where sitting out in the car talking about things we should do when out of the blue he asks me if I want to go to British Columbia. Now keep in mind we live in Ottawa at this time so we are almost on the opposite side of the country. I said "SURE" with a chuckle not thinking he was serious but then all the sudden he starts the car and off we went. It wasn't till we had been driving for 2 hours that I started to think he was serious. Next thing you know when I woke up I was out of my province and in the next heading towards BC. It took a little over a week to get there but when we did we had a blast and made memories you just can't forget.
