why i fired my secretary

i just want to share this story that i think would prove how naughty and stupid men are.

Last weekewas my birthday and I didn't feel very well waking up on that morning.
I went downstairs for breakfast hoping my wife would be pleasant and say, "Happy Birthday!", and possibly have a small present for me.
As it turned out, she barely said good morning, let alone "Happy Birthday."
I thoughht... Well, that's marriage for you, but the kids.. They will remember.
My kids came bounding down stairs to breakfast and didn't say a word.
So when I left for the office, I felt pretty low and somewhat despondent.
As I walked into my office, my secretary Jane said, "Good morning boss, and by the way Happy Birthday!." I felt a little better taht at least someone had remembered.
I worked until one o'clock, when Jane knocked on my door and said, " You know, it's such a beautiful day outside, and it is your birthday, what do you say we go out for lunch, just you and me." I said, "Thanks Jnade, that's the greatest thing I've heard all day. Let's go!"
We went to lunch. But we didn't go where we normally would go. She chose instead at a quiet bistro with a private table. We had two martinis each and I enjoyed the meal tremedously.
On the way back to the office, Jane said, "You know, it's such a beautiful day... We don't need to go straight back to the offeice, do we?" Iresponded, "I guess not. What do you have in mind?" She said, "Let's drop by my aprartment; it's just around the corner." After arriving at her apartment, Jane turned to me and said, "Boss, if you don't mind, I'm going to step into the bedroom for just a moment. I'll be right bac". "Ok." I nervosuly replied.
She went into the bedroom and, after a couple of minute, she came out carrying a huge birthday cake...
Followed by my wife, my kids, and dozens of my friends and co-workers, all singing "Happy Birthday."
And I just sat there..
On the couch..
Naked.

Thanks for sharing that. It is a wonderful story. Talk about getting caught with your pants down!
Even though this story is told in humor, it is more real life than the nose on your face. Forget the bedroom scene. The affair starts with the simple greeting from the secretary in the morning. The husband was longing for some attention and there she was, more than ready to provide it. There may be plenty of days like that, not just on his birthday. An emotional bond starts to form as they encourage and befriend one another. Then, soon enough, it will be the long lunch and the bedroom.
A word about birthday celebrations. As wonderful as they are, they do encourage us to be self-centered on our birthdays. Our spouse might be leaving the house in an ambulance, and we are still asking if there is a birthday present!

What a cute and funy story...you were literelly caught with your pants down :) what incredible thoughts and feelings you and your wife must have had..did she forgive you?? all who were there must have had a good laugh....except your sec. who is out looking for a job..

WOW that is a cute story and I really love how they supprise the celebrant. However, I guess that the surprise party was the way to tell the wife how his husband acted if he is not well loved. It is a form of cheating and I felt mad about it. As a married man, you do not even come to a woman's apartment though it is an invitatuon knowing that only a two of you there.

i guess this is also a wake up call to all wives out there who do not pay really much attention to their husbands. maybe, one of the reasons why men cheat is because they feel their wives do not care about them anymore. :)
but guys, do not just go to a woman's apartment (as what junmae said).

my first reaction was to laugh, it was like watching a movie.howeve, after that i got mixed emotions i don't know if i'm going to be angry because i felt that you are weak and cannot avoid temptations. on second thought i try to understand you because earlier you were expecting a really "good morning" but was disapponted because your family was indifferent on your special day.but again i was thinking what if your family did really forget about the occasion and your secretary was really tempting you.then some bad thing should have happenned... naked? yikes!! if i were your wife i am going to throw the cake on you. sorry if i will go with my instict..
a word of advice, next time try to think of your family and their imperfections and be patient.

If that really happens to you,you must have thinking of going to bed with your secretary for a long while hence your ability to misjudge her friendly gesture.You are the one to be blame for putting yourself in a compromising situation.She doesn't deserve to be sacked.You should apologize to her and reinstate her.Why don't you divorce your wife who hatched the whole plot in the first place.

no ma'am, the guy in this story is not me. hahahaha
i don't think the guy really had thought of sleeping with his secretary. maybe, he was just so lonely that he misjudged the actions of his secretary. yes, i also believe that the husband should be one to be blamed. yes, i also agree that the secretary doesn't deserve to be sacked. but i don't think the husband should divorce the wife, just because of wanting to surpirse her husband.
in the first place, it should be the wife who should file divorce (if ever). hahahahaha it was the husband who acted wrong and should be punished. hahahhaa
and second, the wife did nothing wrong but wanting to make her husband's birthday a memorable as possible. well, i guess this birthday is really an unforgetbale. hahahahahaha

What to say? I'm sorry but I had a good laugh. I can't believe that this is a real story, it's like a part of a movie or anecdote. But did you realy fire your secretary? This is not fair! And what about your wife, maybe she wants to fire you. I'm sorry again, maybe you need a consolation.

hahahah! this is not a personal experience, i just read it and thought that this is a good story not to be shared with. but i would like to agrue regarding dismissal of the secreatary. i think, if this really happens, the secretary should not be fired. she is nothing but innocent.poor lady
