I think I know what site you are referring to. I am also new to this site - just 5 days - but I was able to figure it out somehow. The site won't allow you to go to other topics if you haven't read through the latest threads or forum posts made by the admin. At first, I even thought that I was seeing only the same post over and over again. However, later on, I realized that it wasn't. After I went through all of them, that was the only time I was able to view the other 'threads' or topics where I liked to post. Yes, it is possible to make money at home because I have been doing it for almost 7 months now. Admittedly, the income is not that stable, but still, I have been making more than what I have been making in my previous offline job in a month. I don’t think there is a great deal of money to be made from writing sites. Personally I’ve only made pocket money from such sites, not any more than what I make here. The ‘real ‘ money can be made by sending article ideas to magazine editors but it takes a really long time to hear back from them so it is not something that you can rely on either unless you are an established writer. I am still intent on starting a business but I have no idea where to begin at this point but I will figure it out!

I think in every site have their own guidelines, and guide on how the sites works, how to get started, how you could earn money, and answers to frequently ask questions. There is also an option where you can contact the admin to ask for clarification, some are have live support. Just try to contact the admin if there are things which unclear to your mind.

Try freelance writing out my friend. I am almost at the point where I can get 50 dollars a month from the passive income my writing is earning. I even have a couple of friends who are making 200-300 dollars online a month from their writing, passively. At the rate I am going, I only have to write about 1000 articles to get 100-200 dollars a month passively. I'm 30 articles away from writing 300. :D
