Have you had a trip out of your Country? I have a friend, who use to go a small trip to other countries during these vacation time. He also said that, knowing about different kinds of people will get some interesting facts. And also he said that, he is so much eager in knowing them & also he owed to see some different places.
Have you been to another country for a while? If not do you have a plan for this Christmas Holidays?[/b]

I really love traveling to different countries. Christmas and New Year Eve are expensive times of the year for international flights. I have been lucky enough to be away at Christmas time twice in my life. I had it when I was on my world trip and on Christmas Day I was on a palm fringed beach in Australia. Then I had it again on another Christmas Day. That day I went dolphin watching in New Zealand. I traveled to Turkey for New Year's Eve one year. This year I wanted a summer trip and I traveled in June and July to Vancouver in Canada. It is a country with the summer from June to August. Christmas time there happens in the Canadian winter. I am not a fan of cold weather. I wonder where my next trip will be. I am trying to decide where I shall go.

Hello there!
I haven't been out of the country ever. I just wish to visit other countries for a vacation but I have limitations, financial and time constraint. About this coming Christmas, my family and I are planning to spend a few days in Boracay. It is a good place to spend vacation. The cool breeze from the beach will keep us all relax and be free from hectic schedules and loads of work. I wish we can have the vacation we wish to have this year. ^_^

Hi! I am from the The Philippines, Christmas here is so much fun! I wouldn't go for a vacation somewhere else on Christmas and New year's. And yes, I have been to 4 countries, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong..well, pretty much not a vacation since I've been to each country for 3 or more months except Hong Kong. Indonesia have always been my favorite, I guess because I stayed there for 2 years, I learnt to speak their language but, sadly not that good anymore. Second is Japan, good food! but too expensive! everything!!! haha! but, it was fun though, and also Japanese language is too hard, I didn't put much effort on learning a lot though. Above all, traveling is fun and you get to know more about places, people and culture...and get to experience it first hand is the best of all :D Take a trip somewhere and have fun!

The last time I traveled out of the country was around 2003. My family and I went to Hong Kong. Actually, I'm the least traveled member of my family. The only place I've been to outside my country is Hong Kong. I'd love to travel the whole of Asia and maybe go the US or Europe. I'd also like to go to Greece and Africa. There are so many places I want to go to! The only thing stopping me is the budget. I've only been working for 2 years, and I haven't earned much yet. Unfortunately, I'll just be here for the holidays. Though since my sister is getting married and moving to S. Korea, hopefully I'll be able to visit her and save on the accommodation and food expenses. :)

Hi,
Christmas is coming soon and I am yet to plan for any holiday
trip.
No holiday trip for this year as we have a tight budget for this year.
Usually I will have a trip back to my hometown for short break and we
will visit other country for short holiday trip before going back to
my hometown, but this year our plan has changed as we need money for our
new house renovation. So we have to save our money for our new house.
For this few years, we won't have any holiday trip unless we really can
get cheapest air fares.

I have travelled to Asian countries like Hongkong, Thailand, and Singapore mainly for work --for seminars, conferences. Though I don't get to go around much because the rest of the day is occupied by work-related activities, I learned about the culture through the people I interact with. It is really very interesting that you can learn about a country by the behavior of it's people. Each has it's own unique routines which may be just regular or normal in their eyes, but amazing and sometimes absurd in my eyes.

hi arunmails oh I wou ld love to be able to travel to someother place but Christmas or not, I have very little money and I mean very little. senior citizen female kind and in a retiremente center which takes most of my social Security and SSI checks each month for room and board. I have the huge sum of 125 dollars for my self .that would not take me very far. but I have in time way past gone to Canada and with myhusband we went to Bha Jaha Californina several times. So I am okay for now, I have alot of friends and a lot of memories.

Hello there. No, I have not traveled to another country, but I have always wanted to visit other countries. If given the chance, I would really want to visit Macau because I have heard that it is a very beautiful country. One of my friends went there last year with her family and I had fun looking at her pictures that she posted on the internet. I really want to go there may during Christmas time but definitely not this year because I don't have enough money. Maybe I can save enough and go there next year.

Nope, Ive never been out of this country but we have been planning a trip to a neighboring country. It's near and it wouldnt take us much time just for transportation. It is nice to go out once in a while and see the world little by little. The world is a plethora of different cultures, traditions, beliefs, and of people. It might take more than a life time to get to know each and every one of these but while we have time, why shouldnt we try to at least learn about all the ones that we can, right?^_^
Plans for the Christmas Holidays is just the same as last year. We would go to our GrandMa's house for Christmas lunch. We'd mingle, get updates from each other, and exchange gifts. After that my cousins and I might go around town or to a shopping mall just for fun. When my parents and I have arrived home, we would order take out delivery for dinner or perhaps Mom would cook up something nice. Same as always.

I have been to 2 countries in my lifetime and they are Oman and the USA and both were in 1983. I went to Oman in 1983 to work and i was there till 1987 after which i returned to my country, India. In 1983 itself i went to New York in the month of October from Oman where i was there for 10days staying in Manhattan and quite close to the now destroyed twin towers of the World Trade Center. From New York i travelled to Edison, New Jersey and was there for 4 weeks. From there ireturned to Oman and finally returned home in Feb 1987. Now it is not possible for me to leave my country as my financial position is not very good. However i have no desire to go anywhere else.
