Do you think that I should go back?

Here are a couple things I must say. 1. Who CARES (rhetorical, obviously you care, but still, heed what I say) what that person likes or dislikes, if you're stopping their promotion (because you might be getting it?) then they will have to deal with it. They can complain all they want, it wont do any good. 2. Tell your husband working overtime could benefit you and your family. (help me out on this one. working overtime for that job, or another job of some sort you didn't mention.) 3. He might even be jealous, but I don't know what he does for a job. He could even think you're cheating on him, but I really couldn't say much there either. 3. Your boss clearly REALLY wants you to go back to work. That's great, because they obviously like you (as an employee I'm assuming). 4. If you and your husband both feel you don't put enough time into the family, talk it over with your boss. About your overtime. If you guys are as understanding as you say, he/she should be fine with reducing your time at work (assuming you are required to work over time. I still have not obtained a career of sorts, so I don't know exactly how overtime works.) 5. The weekend is the perfect time of someones life to get together with the family. (depending on the job of course)
