grace from heaven

I had this conversation with a colleague this morning about hard times and prayers. Times are really hard and practically most have financial worries to a varying degree. But she admitted having experienced that when she really needed something, somehow grace from heaven would fall on her. She recounted a time when she needed a black leather shoes for her son who was going to have confirmation. A black leather shoes is expense and this is out of her budget. In spite of this weighing heavily in her mind, she focused on ther day's work. When another colleague approached her and out of the blue asked her if she would accept a pair of black leather shoes which her son had outgrown. And she has it with her in her office. WOW! she almost cried of gratitude and happiness. Isn't this a wonderful story of grace from God? Has anyhing like this happened to you, having prayers answered in unexpected ways?
