here in indonesia for our internet connection we usually use speedy connected from phone line to our PC using ADSL modem but i think still expensive for steady and fast unlimited connection we must pay up to $ 70 per month and for lowest packed with slower unlimited connection we pay $ 25 per month.
I usually connect using my phone,,i connect everyday more than 15 hours/day for unlimited with slower connection for only $ 5

You are right. In India cafes usually charge rs 15/ hour for using internet. So even if you work offline they will charge you same for engaging a PC. When I got a PC at home. I was happy. Here the connection I have taken is broadband and with a speed of 512kbps.

Hi! Look, to have internet in here (Brazil) it's easy but, for a high speed conection you have to pay an expensive bill for internet. Today, i have 300 kbps conection payin like 50~45 dolars and for me that is very expensive but it's the best than i can get here in my neighborhood. I'm waiting until today for a high speed conection with cheap price!
See you!

We have a PC since 1990. My Dad works on telecommunication company back then so it's easy for us to get a PC. We got our internet connection since 1998.
