Do You Have a Particular Coffe Mug?

I know many people that use the same mug for their coffee each day. Many of those mugs are personalized and are usually funny. Do you use a mug like that? I usually just mix it up. But at work I do use the same mug everyday, but that's because it is the kind with a lid on it so not to spill. Maybe I will get me my own mug to go with the crowd, but what to put on it? I'll have to think on it.

I have a couple of coffee mugs that I like. One has Santa on it and a friend gave it to me. The other belonged to my late brother-when my mother went through his stuff (he was clear across the country) she found this mug with a spoon in it to stir the coffee and creamer. It had long dried up, his last cup of coffee. She sent it to me, knowing it would be a perfect memento of him that I could connect with. I use it nearly every day and the spoon is in my sugar bowl.

I use Santa mostly because I'm cheap. I'm too frugal to buy another mug and besides, I like being reminded of my friend. Santa is such a positive image, too, he's all about love and generosity so the mug starts me day out right.

That's awesome! It is nice when things owned by our relatives can bring back a piece of the memory of them back to us again. I have a few items that belongs to my grandparents that are dear to me because they bring back such fond memories. They aren't worth anything and are very old but I will never throw them out.
Funny you use a Santa mug all year round though! (I wish it were always Christmas!)

Yes, I use the same mugs, one for coffee and one for tea. That is at home as well as at my work place. The mugs I use are souvenir mugs, the ones I bought when I was on my business trips. I like them very much, as reminders of the places I have been to.

I was thinking of getting a personalized mug for my use at work. Any suggestions for a mug? I guess I will look on line and see what I can come up with. These days there are tons of choices at online stores. I'm thinking something that makes me laugh, that way I start the day off with a caffeine and a smile.

I have one coffee mug that I use every day. It is a Harley Davidson mug that changes colors when my coffee gets cold. I use it for hot chocolate too. I don't care what other people think about it because it is the perfect size for a cup of coffee. I actually bought it for my husband, but he chooses not to use it, and now it is mine. I don't work in an office right now as I am a stay at home mom. I wish I had a personalized mug, but it would get up and walk away the first time one of my husband's friends used it.

I do! It's like I can't drink my coffee if I won't use my mug. I always feel bad whenever someone used my mug, it's like an important possession for me, I even keep it away from other mugs, hehehe

I do not work, so I drink coffee at home. We have a collection of mugs, not personalized. They commemorate places we have been.

I am not a coffee drinker so i don't have a particular coffee mug for that beverage. I do enjoy drinking hot chocolate though. I don't have to have a certain mug or cup to drink it from. Anyone will do.

A pleasant day Rallon,
With regard to your query, I do use and have my own mug in the office. Although, it is not a personalised one. I prefer to use my own mug because our office is a mix of different nationalities. For this reason, I find it unhealthy if I will just use anybody's mug. Aside from that, this is to avoid disturbance in other's belongings.

Nope! I find no reason to keep a coffee mug reserved for me! As such I do not have any reservation/ preference. I use what is clean and handy.

Sharing or not sharing, it is not my concern.
As long as when I want to use the mug, I prefer to rinse the mug with the boiling water.
This is to ensure the cleaness of the mug before I use.
But not most of the time, I can manage to rinse my mug with hot water.
Never be so particular in it too.
