Which is harder for you to do : exercise or eat right?

And by this I mean, consistently. Is it easier to make an exercising routine or a healthy-eating routine, for you? Both have been challenges for me lately, but the exercise one has been the biggest challenge. I don't belong to a gym and it's been freezing outside (OK, yes, these are excuses) but I've also been busy working.. What about you? Which is harder for you to consistently do?

For me, exercising on a regular basis is harder for some reason. Mostly because I don't really love all forms of exercise I guess. But eating habits are pretty easy for me to change, actually. It has always been this way for me. I still work out though, but I kind of have to force myself to do it...

Can't I pick both?! Well, if I have to pick one then it would be the exercise. Not eating the 'unhealthy' food just involves will power; but exercise means a lot of physical pain. Yes, it feels good afterwards, but it's a struggle while you're in the middle of it. Ugghh!

It would be really hard for me to eat right! When I am sad, all I really wanna do is to eat something to cheer me up. However, I do exercise quite a lot as I walk to school and walk home. So.. yeah. Helps me to keep healthy.

Definitely exercising for me too. It's still easier to exercise willpower and watch my eating than it is to actually exercise! Plus, I really hate it. A lot. I do get a lot of exercise just with the regular around the house and yard stuff and we do walk quite often but I must admit I've never set foot inside a gym. I've sort of thought about Yoga and stuff like that but I've never really tried it. I guess I've still got a few years left where eating sensibly and doing my regular stuff is enough to maintain my figure. Really don't look forward to the time when it wont be!

Most of the people think eating right is harder than having an exercise. Ok let me tell you guys, it only take a few minutes to learn the proper way or steps of one single exercise. For example running, some find it hard to do 1K running without stopping but all they got to have is confidence and trust themselves and just a day or the longest of 1 week they will be able to do it. But to eat right, you will need a month to get the right things. When being said it is definitely easy, well all we have to do eat. But get deeper on the main focus, "eating right". You think by eating fruits or vegetables means you're already eating right? There are some who got allergies or even those people who have hard time eating vegetables just because they don't like the taste so basically what happens is they don't eat what they don't like so by doing that then you're not eating right. There are so many things to consider before you can say you're already eating right rather than exercising.

I find eating healthy is easier. I have very little time to exercise sometimes but eating fresh fruits and veggies and avoiding bad calories, and processed foods is much easier/less time consuming. If I had more time I would love to exercise more, but for now I have to settle for eating healthy, which is good, but could be better if I had to time/energy to add a consistent exercise regimen.

Hey maezee, Nice topic. I've tried going to the gym but I'm not really into it. I don't know, but after several visits, being motivated with people around, such interest still faded. I just bring home some tools for me to use in exercising such as dumbel, tummy trimmer, dvd and the like. But it could not motivate me either. But I can managed my eating habit for as long as it's my heath that in stake. So probably, I would opted that eating right is more applicable for me than doing exercises.

Eating right has not been difficult for me. There are so many healthy food choices. It isn't difficult for me eat with good nutrition. Exercise can be a different story. It is a good health choice, but often it can be more of a chore.

I'm lazy so making a healthy eating routine would be much better. It would be hard at first - I'm sure a healthy eating routine does not entail regularly eating junk food XD but I could get used to healthy eating. I'll always be lazy so I'll never get used to exercising XD

I'm sorry to tell you that both of the actions are difficult for me. Maybe I also have the excuses to explain for it. I know both of the actions are good for our health. But my work is very busy and disorder. I couldn't make an exercising routine or a healthy-eating routine.

There is no harder stuff to do for me, BOTH is really hard. I mean exercise is tiring and controlling of what you eat is really hard to. LOL.

It is harder for me to exercise and the worst thing is that I love eating. I am fat and each night I think I would exercise the next day but that doesnot happen.

Eating right is a lot harder than exercising. I have always been partial to sports, and have always been a member of a health club or sports club for most of my adult life so exercising is easy for me. I love walking and I walk around my town to do errands. My downfall is eating. I can't seem to exercise enough self-control not to eat or eat a smaller portion of unhealthy food. Like right now, I resolved to just yogurt at night, but its a daily battle. Last night my mother cooked my favorite sisig (sizzling pig's ears, it's delicious, take my word for it) and I ended up foregoing yogurt.

Nowadays I do exercise and try to eat right as much as possible, but I admit that the most difficult thing to follow is to eat right for me. There are too many temptations, and vegetables are expensive nowadays, so it's easy to resort to just eat junk food or pasta one day after another. I don't do that because I know it's not good for my body, but it's difficult to always keep a balanced diet.

Hi Maezee! For me exercise is harder than eating right. In fact the only exercise I do is doing household chores and walking around the mall, lol, and sometimes taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Eating right is easy as long as you stick to your diet plan and as long as you plan your whole week meal.

I found it harder to eat right than to exercise, maybe i'm just use to it, im fit but i don't usually take my food habits for granted, i'll eat what i like besides im exercising.
