What is tv lacking today is reality show killing tv for you?

When I was a kid and even in my teens I really enjoyed watching tvand waiting for new fall season but over the years no real great shows for family just reality show? Do you feel that reality show that great or is it over board and costing tv view to watch older shows on the net more?

yes I am 39 now and I have notice that even saturday morning use to be for kids and toons was the big thing for kids on saturday. Reality tv even take spot on major networks. Nbc, Abc, CBS, Fox, UPN all had great shows for kids. I have 4 sons and i enjoy watching tv with them on Saturday. I have start collecting old toon for them to watch bring back memories.

The old cartoons were better than those shown today because many were meant for adults as well as children. As a child there would be things that would only mean something to me later when I was an adult. This is especially true of the cartoons that were originally shown in movie theaters in addition to the feature movie.

One of the problems with TV today is that channels are afraid of losing money. Reality shows are easier to do because you don't have big salaries to pay out to stars. I hate it though when reality shows catch on and the no talent "stars" start to believe they are stars and demand more money.
