Have you heard about the rescue operation for 33 chilean miners? They were trapped at 600 meters under the ground and stayed there 69 days. I should put this topic in "politics" because the whole story brought a huge political success to the chilean president Sebastian Pinera. But I decided to chose "people" because the potential tragedy became a moving human story. The president of the country who has econimical troubles and was hit by an earthquake this year promised to make every thing possible to save the men. And he kept his word. It's realy moving and comforting to see that when people are in trouble the rulers of the country are there to help. The final stage of the rescue operation was broadcasted live by televisions around the world. This story is the top news for many media.
