Stink Bugs

I have been fighting a stink bug invasion and I'm live in the Southwest and not the Northeast where they said on TV there was a problem. If you step on them they smell and make a mess. I have sprayed insecticide twice and each time it only seemed to work on the the small to medium size ones and then for only about a week or so. I'm sure that they were spread to my neighbor by birds(probably pigeons) coming to my neighbors bird feeder. I have also had problems with other bugs that kill trees brought in by that method. Any one else having stink bug problems or know a good way to get rid of them.

Not having them but have heard about them. Do they vacuum up? Can you drown them? Is there anything they dislike? Ants hate peppermint, fleas supposedly hate lavendar, etc. So we put peppermint oil on floor boards of the house to keep them out.

call pest control if your store bought pesticides aren't working. They may not be strong enough.

I saw that on the news! But sorry I have no knowledge of what to do with them. I'm just glad they are not here yet.
