Do You Have A Craft Or Hobby?

I do. I collect gemstones and make jewelry. This year was so slow finance wise that I didn't buy any new supplies for jewelry making at all. This next year I want to focus on buying some new supplies for my Etsy store. If anyone wants a chance to win a free piece of jewelry just pm me and I will tell you the address to my jewelry blog to enter. What is your craft or hobby, and do you sell your items, or give them away?

I make ceramics/pottery. It's not a hobby, I wish it was. I don't have my own studio so I can't make them regularly. I make'em because I like the way I can manipulate the structure into something with my hands and I can put all my emotions into it without getting noticed. It's fun.

What an interesting piece. Have you ever looked at Etsy? Their listing fees are reasonable and it is for all handmade items.

I did look maybe later I'll make an account but I'm gonna try to make a name for myself first. That's what my teacher told us. She sells her stuff to museums and she makes a living out of it, I find it kind of cool.

I scan pictures, slides, film, etc. and make musical videos (DVDs). It was a hobby/interest, then I started a small business doing it. Unfortunately, after the first few months, business dropped off. Everything I've done lately is "free" for friends and charities. Maybe someday the business will recover, but I don't expect it to be anytime soon.

That is actually very cool. Maybe the economy will get better sooner rather than later, and your business will pick back up. I know most people I know are not spending money on things they consider not necessary.

I do have a hobby, but that's not about crafts. For crafts, I buy them as souveniers when I travel to countries in different regions of the world. I have a collection of very nice handicrafts from countries like Thailand, India, and more. My hobby is writing, short stories, articles, reviews, and so on. Writing has been my hobby since my high school years and is still is.

I like to write too, and read, but if I don't have time to commit to it then I don't enjoy it as much.

I like to do a lot of crafts. One of my favorites is knitting. I find it very relaxing. I like to create because it is such an awesome feeling when you can make something from very little to start with. I like to knit things to give away as gifts as well as knit for myself. On occassion I have sold my knitting, but not on a regular basis.

My mom can knit with her eyes closed, and crochet. I used to crochet a bit when I was younger, but have never tried knitting.
