Liverpool`s debt problem has been one of the most discussed topics in sport for the past few days. It seems the fans still don`t want Liverpool to be taken over by Red Sox, especially RBS, because Liverpool`s borrowing is from RBS. What do you think about that and what will happen next?So sorry that a big club with long history like Liverpool is going through this..

I don't think it can be classed as "tragic" just yet, there's still time for a silver lining and although they have been sold now. It's this time which will tell if the drama is about to unfold in a negative or positive way. Liverpool problem is getting the players who should be doing better to actual put in a performance you would expect and this may involve a different manager after the next transfer window. I think roy as taken a big step in taking charge of Liverpool and he's turned an attacking side into a nightmare, I know it's harsh to blame him for the results but they don't not play the way they've been trying to establish themselves and a title contending side.

I mean this is as farcical as things get. The owners don't want to sell, the people have brought into assist in the sale RBS wants to sell. Then a court case and finally the sell off by court order. It was really pathetic and a club like Liverpool definitely did not deserve such a drama!! I think this season is going to be really tough on Liverpool!! Cheers! Ram

If the fans does not want Red Sox to take over, who do they want? Whoever the people will be, I think Liverpool has hit bottom with Hicks and Gillet.

It is a shame that a club like Liverpool was bought by somebody. But I hope other teams will follow this road, and I mean every team which is owned by somebody. Because it wasn't, it isn't and it won't be fair that some teams have to deal with the money they produce, and others like Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and City, Tottenham and other teams are bought by wealthy people and suddenly have an endless bag of money. Without them the Premier League wouldn't have so many top players. I would be very satisfied if the financial fair play would be implemented and these teams would not even be eligible to play international football because they have unhealthy finances, they spend way more than they earn. This was not fair comparing with German or French teams, where is not allowed to be in debt, so they couldn't afford to buy and pay expensive players. But they are not influenced by a certain person's wealth, they belong to their fans and have stable financial ground. My hope is that every team that is owned by somebody and didn't respect the game, by pumping enormous amount of money in football, money which wasn't produced by the team to disappear. They are a disease to the football and spoil the loyal competition, the fair play of this game. I am sorry for the Liverpool fans, but without the money which was pumped in the team they couldn't have won the Champions League. But if they would go bankrupt they deserve it, and I hope teams like Chelsea and other one's will go bankrupt as well. Because if Abramovitch decides that he doesn't want to pump anymore money, than Chelsea will be in a huge crap and debt, and they deserve to be declared bankrupt and they should be abolished.

No matter what, Liverpool need a new owner that will clear of the debt. And it mean even if the fan don't want it. It is either take over or administration. Just hope this will be a learning point to other club that opted a takeover.
