Why do science and religion have to fight? Evolution isn't against God!

The title says it all, evolution does not negate the Bible, and vice versa. The only time it could be a problem is if things are taken out of context or too literally. People need to put this debate to bed.

Welcome to mylot, umklassg! I think you posted this in the right interest. Humans apparently love to fight for every cause they can think of. We are, after all, animals (Darwin)and/or children thrown out of the Paradise for our sins (Bible). What I just said is, of course, a literal way of looking at the problem. But the older I get the more I discover that the mayority of us have no idea of symbols behind signs of any kind. Take care

Science and religion can never seem to be on the same page. there is always competition beween them. Science and religion both want to be right about the same thing. Perhaps someday they will see there is room for both.
