I used to have menstrual cramps very bad. My daughter also has bad cramps. I have learned from my mother a yoga stance that helps alot. You set a pillow on the floor and lay your head on it. Put your head to one side and bring legs up under you until your bottom is up in the air and your legs are up and chest flat on the floor. Lay there for about ten minutes. It has always helped up and I hope it does you.

I'm not sure if you can take an aleve tablet its a pain reliever, but if you can good aleve are best because they last a long time and they have no caffeine and hot chocolate or tea, and relax lay down or sit and relax for while the sick stomach usually goes away with the cramps once the cramps are gone the nausea should go too.
hope this helps.

hello indahfth,
menstrual cramps can range from mild to quite severe. the mild menstrual cramps may be barely noticeable and of short duration - sometimes felt just as a sense of light heaviness in the belly. but severe menstrual cramps can be so painful and they interfere with a woman's regular activities for several days.
i think hot compress in the belly can help you out. place hot water in rubber bag and directly put on aching belly.taking pain reliever will also be of help. and try to have a bed rest.
i hope this helps you.

let me clear this out. put cloth or towel on belly first, and place the rubber bag with hot water directly where the ache is coming. if you can tolerate it for 5 minutes or more.. i think it will be of help.

Hi,
I believe you are facing menstrual cramps and it can be very pain.
I did experienced it before during my teenager. It was so pain, that
I feel lazy to wake up and do thing, I will only feel comfortable
lying on my bed and have a good rest and mine can last for 1-2 days.
Do you ever heard of PANADOL for menstrual cramps? you can get it
from pharmacy and see whether it helps you up or not.
If the pain occured almost every month, then I advise you check with doctor
for some medical advices.
Takecare..

yes, sometimes it happens, usually this is solved by putting a little food in my stomach.

I clearly never (and will not ever) experience this. Drink a lot of water and lay down, that's the best solution you can take. Also, never be dependent to painkiller or medicine, because that's not good for you. This is because your stomach contracts rather hard this time.

Ginger helps with stomach pains and is a natural remedy. If you can, sip ginger tea or drink ginger ale. I am not sure if these are available to you but if they are they can really help with pain in the stomach during menstruation or even during bouts with the flu.

I would if I were you take a midol or Aleve with a cup of tea and if you have a hot water bottle put it on your pelvic area. Take a nap and you should wake up feeling so much better.Hope this help you and that you are feeling better real soon.

We as women go through so many changes within our bodies. Men do not go through things like we do. So there can be times when unexpectedly we get much more pain then any other time. I know this feeling oh so well.
Drink some warm tea, a muscle relaxer helps, but ultimately use a hot water bottle on your tummy and time will elevate all the pain.
I hope you feel better soon.

Perhaps you are experiencing dysmenorrhea. Or it is also called menstrual cramps. It is pain felt during menstrual periods. Although this is said to be nothing really serious and is normally felt by a lot of women, the pain is really unbearable at times. Some could hardly walk. Mild pain killers may help alleviate the pain. When your menstrual period is gone, the pain goes away too. Another way to relieve your discomfort is to press a pillow against your stomach and lie on your back. You may also apply warm compress on the area. Then again, it is best to see your OB-Gynecologist and have it consulted. The doctor is the best person to check out the source of your pain.
