yes. today the 17th of October is my wife's birthday. and tomorrow will be our 8th year wedding anniversary. it should have been a celebration. but i am not with my family right now. this is just one big "missed life" for one like me who is working away from home. i have been missing my wife's and daughter's special days for 3 years now. because my contract covers a year and i just can't take a few days vacation for these occasions for my family. it's not easy and i cannot afford it. i just send her messages and go online with her for an hour maybe.

belated birthday wishes to ur wife and best wedding wishes for u both.
don't feel if u are not there with her now. u can get good days in future. u can enjoy with ur family more in next year.
as u cant afford for vacation this time,u try to save money for next year trip and enjoy with ur family next year.
enjoying one hour online is good enough to her and she can understand u and can help u in future .

Oh that is very hard but I guess that's how it really is with people with families. You will sacrifice everything, even your own happiness, just to give your family a good life. You know I admire that for you. Not all men can do what you are doing now. Being away from your family is perhaps the most difficult things for a father to do but just think that all these are for them. When you get the chance to come home, then make sure that you spend really quality time with them. Goodluck!

thank you so much sheryllad. indeed, it is a very tough challenge for any parent to leave his or her family. but the promise of giving a better way of living is as well hard to find in my home country. so we have been oriented to study hard and later work. but not just work, we have to find work outside the country. and when our annual vacations come, truly we love to spend each minute with our family.
