There are so many ways to eat salmon, and salmon is soo yummy and so good for us that I would encourage everyone to eat as much as possible of it. But what is your favorite way of eating salmon? Mine would be smoked salmon or in sushi. How about you?

Hi Puccagirl I prefer to eat salmon with salsa. Here is my favourite salmon recipe: Ingredients: 1/1/2 lbs salmon filets, skin and bones removed, cut into 4 pieces 2 tsp fresh lemon juice salt and pepper Salsa 1 TBS finely chopped fresh mint 1 TBS finely chopped fresh cilantro 1 TBS finely minced scallion (or green onions) 1 tsp finely minced fresh ginger 1 medium ripe fresh tomato, seeds and excess pulp removed, diced into ¼-inch pieces 3 medium cloves garlic, pressed 2 TBS extra virgin olive oil 3TBS fresh lemon juice salt and white pepper to taste Method of Preparation 1.To Quick Broil salmon: Preheat broiler on high and place an all stainless steel skillet (be sure the handle is also stainless steel) or cast iron pan under the heat for about 10 minutes to get it very hot. The pan should be 5 to 7 inches from the heat source. 2.Chop garlic and let sit for 5-10 minutes to bring out its health-promoting properties. 3.Rub salmon with 2 tsp fresh lemon juice, salt and pepper. (You can Quick Broil with the skin on; it just takes a minute or two longer. The skin will peel right off after cooking.) 4.When pan is hot, use a hot pad to pull out the pan from the heat and place salmon on it, skin side down. Return to broiler. Keep in mind that it is cooking rapidly on both sides so it will be done very quickly (usually about 7 minutes for every inch of thickness). Salmon does not need to be turned. Test with a fork for doneness. It will flake easily when it is cooked. Salmon is best when it is still pink inside. 5.Mix together salsa ingredients in a bowl, and set aside. Serve on top of Quick Broiled salmon.

Sushi/sashimi definitely. I could eat it all day, every day. Secondly would be grilled with seasoning and/or a light sauce.

I had my first sushi with salmon and I hated it, but I think it was the sushi and not the salmon itself. I love salmon smoked with parsley buttered potatoes and peas, yum..I also have broiled it with lemon pepper and garlic, it's really good this way..

Yeah, not all sushi is good, I have had some pretty bad sushi too, over the years. But what you described sounded really yummy too, I think I have to try that!

Hi. puccagirl. I like to eat the canned wild Alaskan salmon. I usually cook this in a skillet. I add some oil, black pepper and onions. I let it boil and fry down. After this, I serve it over some hot white rice. I just don't like it when the bones are in it. It is so yummy!

I like my salmon either steamed or fried but without putting any oil on the skillet as salmon itself has enough fat as to be cooked in it´s own fat. I like to fry it just one side ( the side with the skin), fry there later some endivies cut in half and place the cooked salmon over them. Yummy!

I adore broiled salmon because it makes it crispy yet seals in the delicious fat that I crave! Smoked salmon is disgusting and completely takes away from the salmons already rich flavor. Grilling is good but I feel like a lot of the fat is lost when it falls onto the coals. When you broil, all the fat oozes out into the pan, but I always take those pan drippings and pour it over my meal! :) Oh and of course I ADORE salmon sashimi! :)

Smoked salmon and in sushi is pretty tasty but I love to have baked salmon. Baked with some onion, sprinkled with lemon juice and slow baked makes for some really awsome moist, flavorful salmon.
