How often do you use lotion on your body?

I have friends who use lotions and body creams on their body every day, because they think their skin is so dry. I don't though, because I think if the skin gets used to it, it will dry up faster without it, which I don't want. So I use lotions only if my skin gets dry, which happens from time to time, but not so often.
How about you? How often do you wear lotion?

I use it every day for as I get older, my skin does get drier. When I was a teen, I never use lotions except on my hands in the winter time because when they got wet along with the cold they would get dry.
I have heard using oil on your skin it gets use to it, but I don't know about lotions, I think aging is what causes the dryness, not using lotion, especially if it is a mild and natural lotion.

I guess that makes sense, skin does tend to get drier with age. So maybe you are onto something there!

I also started using olive oil, (Just a tiny bit) around my eyes. Using just a little doesn't give you that greasy feeling and I think it really works, great for those lines around the eyes where the skin is very sensitive..Oh, and thanks for the BR, I am learning as I go, as you can see...lol

My skin is extremely dry primarily through the winter only since the house is so dry. My wife usually needs to slather me down all over with lotion, once after showering in the evening and sometimes in the morning before work otherwise my skin will be so dry and itchy.
