Do you buy cupcakes or do you make them yourself?

I prefer to make my own cupcakes puccagirl - the main reason being that they are so expensive in the shops and I begrudge paying for them when I know how little it costs me to make them at home. Also, if you make your own, you can make them exactly how you want, and they are so easy and quick to make. If you have children in the house, they love to get involved in making them (boys included!) My kids always had a lot of fun when we made them because I would let them express themselves which they loved, and we would end up with some wierd looking cupcakes - and they all got eaten!

I love getting in the kitchen and bake different cupcakes. i mix strawberry and banana cake mix together and use white frosting with nuts. The cupcakes stores in memphis change $1.75 for one cupcake. I can not afford that.

I usually buy mine. It's easier with my schedule and kids. But I have made my own. My daughter is starting to show an interest in cooking. I should put cupcakes on the list.

I love cupcakes as well. I have tried making cupcakes by scracth and they never turned out good. They were always to gewy or just tasted to floury. Now if I want to make cupcakes I buy the cake mix and make cupcakes that way, or I just by the already made one at the bakery.

Well, I then I guess we're kinda lucky because a nearby bakery is selling reasonably priced cupcakes. Also, when we go to the mall, there are quite a number of cake shops selling affordable yet delicious cup cakes. So in my case, I buy cupcakes. I wish I could make them myself because my kids would surely love it. But the thing is, I don't know how to bake, or never had the chance to try because I'm a full time working mom. But you gave me an idea, guess I'll try to put this on my to-do list :-)

I love store bought cupcakes, because usually they're prettier and I like pretty things. But I also love homemade cupcakes because there's more love put in to it ^^ My favourites are the pink lemonade cupcakes I make?
