I think India has held the most beautiful and successful game event in the history of India. There were lot of questions raised about the money spent and the wastage of money and improper planning- But even though commitee gave finishing touch in time . What do you think some of the corrections should have been done if India is hosting games again?

I watched a lot of the games and I thought that they went pretty well considering all of the early fears about it being a disaster. There were issues that made the event far from perfect such as the large amount of people coming down with Delhi Belly (Gastro) and the fact that crowds were a bit small at some of the events, but overall I think it was good. Perhaps the tickets were a little too expensive for the average Indian person to attend? I think there were also a lot of distractions for the competitors at these games, probably more than usual maybe.

I am very happy about performance by Indian players in CWG but hosting games in Delhi was not that great. It was Media and International community who attacked CWG commitee to the job done on time otherwise it could have been a flop show in games history, Bravo to ground lavel workers who spent night and day to redo their job many times after complaints from various bodies. I believe everyone was lookign at their money share from CWG and rest was least priority, hope they get other hosting events in future and overcome earlier hurdles as they had in CWG.

As far as the medal count, it was quite a success for India, but do we really need to spend so much money on sports and that only in the national capital ? This money could have been spent much needed infrastructures which this country needs badly. I certainly hope that India will not spend so much on these games in future.Of course if it is done by the sports federations like the BCCI, who generate the revenue by themselves, it is alright.
