im addicted to facebook

The interesting thing about Facebook is that it fulfills two basic human needs. The first is the need for attention. What kid growing up in America during the MTV years didn't wan their own TV show? We all wanted to be stars. Social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter provide us the opportunity to be in the limelight and project details of our lives and our opinions into the world for others to see. The second basic need is to know. We are all voyeurs at heart. We love to know what others are doing, thinking, and have happening around them. The more famous the person, the more we want to know about their everyday lives in a hope to find some common ground. This is why "reality" TV has become so popular.

very!!! i'm so addict on facebook. because you can have friends even if you don't know him/her..you can chat your friends if they are online, and it's a lots of games..

I would say that facebook, for me is not addicting because I am rare to visit the site. I only use facebook to promote things or something if needed... I never try to play farmville or any kind of games there... Have a nice day!

yeah, I'm on there alot. I have some celebs on my facebook friends list and watching their posts/updates is interesting. I really like the different groups you can join/"like". there is always something fun to do on facebook!

I hear ya! I'm on FB more than any other site, I'm sure. I've reconnected with some high school classmates and people I used to work with, plus get to chat and share pictures with family that's several states away. I have a horrible addiction to some of the games, though, which eats up time that I should be doing other things. Glad to see they're making some improvements on their privacy. I know there's people out there trying to make the most (in a bad way) of a huge phenomenon right now. Pedophiles, scammers, you name it, they're out there. For the most part, though, I think it's a great tool for meeting new people, reconnecting, and doing business.

I fully understand you! FaceBook is a nice play to meet new friends, add photos, play games, ect! This makes that I put a lot of time into FacBook and forget to do other things haha!
