iF someone came up to you and said they were going to give you funds
to move anywhere you want . .There would be enough money to move, to secure
or build a home and to hold you over till you found employment:
1) would you accept the offer?
2) why or why not?
3) where would you move?
4) would you buy a home, rent a home or build a home.
Just curious as to how many would move if money
to do so was provided.

I would be bicoastal; meaning I would get a house in New York and one down here in Alabama and be content; I have been thinking about it for a bit but with the money, that would be a great idea and don't mind doing it with the money but of course, I would count the costs and do it right take my time in doing what is necessary and then proceed from there.

I guess I would. I have been dreaming about buying a nice house with a beautiful lake-view. May be right on the lakeside. Whenever I drive along a long with a stunning view, my dream keeps coming back. Sure, it would be so nice if some one gives me the money to do that !!

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a wealthy person
to drop you off the big bucks needed for your dream home.

I don't think i would be moving anywhere.
I like to move around but you know what they say. There's no place like home. I would just stay at one place and make myself comfortable with it. I just love it a lot. Would you move around?
Cheers!

I don't know if I would accept the offer. I have been living in Las Vegas my whole life and although I hate this place very much, I met so many lifelong friends. If I do decide to move, I would move somewhere close, probably in California, or the surrounding states. This is so I would be close to most of my friends. I would probably build my house, so I can make it the way I want it. So many houses in Nevada are so generic looking, and I wouldn't want to live in a boring house.

i guess if you like the busy-ness of Vegas nothing will compare
with it. I have no desire to live anywhere like Vegas.
I didn't like the big city I was in for 8 months in 2009.
I don't like to be rushed;) So if I would ever move I would
want a quieter location; here is quiet, though.

If given this chance, I would move my family to Canada. Uprooting yourself from your motherland is one huge step, thus we need all the moral (if financial would not be a problem) support we can get. I have a number of very close relatives in Canada, thus, I know I can count on them to give us this kind of support in adjustment in the way of life and culture. Canada is peaceful and progressive, a great place to raise kids. Building our own home is very much preferred than renting.
