I wonder when or if cashgopher will be running for linux users. Anyone else in the same boat?

I signed up and then found out they didn't offer a Linux package. So that is that. With all the negative PR about Cashgopher, I am starting to rethink the idea.

Same here. Running the 8.10 version Ubuntu and even if it was available, I think I will not even download it as I hear a lot of negative comments rather than the positive comments.

I don't really like the idea to install software to send any information about me and my pc. Besides I really don't have a clue what kind of activity and information they are sending to their site. The risk of using this kind of software did not worth it. I have many private internet cache that I don't like another party to know.

I have a Windows 7 laptop, and it won't even install on it. I tried and tried, but it just wouldn't work. I gave up finally when I realized that it really isn't such a big deal anyway. I don't like the idea of a program running in the background in the first place, so no doing it doesn't bogher me at all. I would think twice before i would ever consider doing it. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Penguins don't usually get along well with gophers, sooo, I don't think anytime soon. But seriously, I really don't have a clue. I hope so though, because even though I don't use linux, some of my future referrals may use it.
