I have donut and coffee for breakfast, which I think is my indulgence. I do not eat doughnut on a normal day to day basis but since it is cold why not eat something sweet and indulgent? Then for lunch we have egg noodle soup with chicken afritada. So warm and yummy. Now I am thinking what should I make for dinner. It is still cold and I want something warm for dinner. What should I cook?

It is ok, I know what you mean. No need to be sorry. :) I love that too but I dont like the bony part for siningang, I orefer the meat and some fat part. What I love with the bony part is bulalo. Hmmm. I miss that. It is really a comforting food during cold days.

I like casseroles and legumes when weather is very cold. And always a soup to begin with: it´s so comforting. Many times on a Winter´s evening I prepare pumpkin dumplings or churros with a hot chocolate made the spanish way. Warm food warms out heart too when it´s so cold outside

how do you make pumpkin dumplings? It sounds good to eat, and something new to me.

Personally when the kids and me have cold days we like to eat chili, soup, or sometimes we even eat grilled cheese. They are all easy to make and usually if you don't want to cook then you can buy something at the store that takes about 5 minutes like Ramen noodles or something like that.
