My friend is leaving this week to work overseas. I am very close to him. He is very open about how he feels about my best friend. For years, he courted my best friend, however, my best friend just see him only as a friend. So last year, he decided to stop courting her and date another girl who is now his steady gf. However, I can say he hasn't get over yet with his love for my best friend. And whenever we are together, I can still see it in his eyes, the way he looks at her, and the way he talks about her, he still wished it is her who became his gf. But love is like that, we can't have the ones we love always. And last night, when the the three of us are chatting, I can't help but smile when they are making a joke about how he courted her. I also wish they ended up together...now that he is leaving, my best friend told me she will miss him. But of course, just as a friend...
We really can't force love...no matter how good and nice catch a person is, if we don't feel it, we can't love him back...

Well yes, bokal. Love can't be learned but earned. But based their story, who knows that this is somehow can be a way for a new discovery? You know them both, so you can still wish that this separation can be a way for them to feel and know the significance of each other. Especially for your bestfriend, his absence may create a new discovery for her feelings. Just cross your fingers to make work. Besides they're both still singles and nothing is impossible.

you are right i understand his situation, its not easy to love a person specially when that person never love you back, when that person just want to treat you as a friend., so sometimes we may say that its better to let go. or having some fun that could replace the heartache.=
