What is Net Axle?

Seems like everytime I sign into Mylot, I'm being, for want of a better word, hijacked by NetAxle. I then quickly click on the 'return to Mylot' link. Is NetAxle the advertising partner of MyLot? or I am hijacked by some other thing? I'm thinking it might have to do with the banner advertising. And of course, now we are forced to look at advertising right away, which is a recent phenomenon. (I guess MyLot needs to earn money somehow). Do other MyLotters have this happening to them also?
