Memory card error in PS2?

Whiling play burnout3 takedown and saving the profile it says "Itsert memory card in memory card slot 1" . All other games are working and saving correctly. What can i do?

Hi this never happened to me yet.
You can try switching slot or inserting the memory card on slot 2 if you are using slot 1. the slot could be dusty which might caused that error. You can also try dusting the port or the other end of the memory card.
If it is corrupted you can use MCkiller to reformat your memory card.

Well i think your memory card is corrupt, try formatting it.

Try deleting the game file on the memory card and then play the game again and try to save it. Also make sure there isn't any corrupted files while looking into your memory which would look like a blue box and says corrupted files. If you do then deleted those corrupted file. If you get the same message of "Insert memory card in memory card slot 1" then put out the memory card and put it back in the slot and see if the game reads it.
If you still can't save the game, then you can't save the game at all cause Burnout 3: Takedown haves issues of saving with the 8MB and 64MB memory cards. There are many gamers who had problems saving this same very game. So it's the game and not the memory card.
