Unlike most girls I'm not into bags actually. The few pieces I own were mostly given and i only bought a bag or two and these are not really expensive.
A lot of celebrities and even just ordinary people are really drooling over LV bags and I'm wondering if the bag is really worth the price. The knock offs claim that the quality of their bags are at par with the original ones. So why should I get the original LV?

@kevin1877uk Expensive! A luxury brand I don't think I'd waste my money on. I'm not really into bags.

I never think it is worth to buy such an expensive bag like LV. The price doesn't make a sense. I don't think this bag will have something special and therefore it is so expensive. It is better to spend the money in a wise way than buying for such a luxury thing.
I love China

if you are a bag collector, getting an LV will be worth it.I am not a fan of bags also,so I would prefer a nice pair of LV shoes over a bag.knock-offs are not really worth it.when you buy knock-offs,even if those that claim that their bags are at par with the originals,it will still break sooner.too much usage can wear out the bag.originals are still the way to go.

I guess you're right there. Knock offs would never be that at par with the original. Sometimes I'm thinking that if i have a daughter, I'd probably consider getting one because it might last years and I could pass it on to her.

I am into bags but not those expensive ones. I wouldn't spend that much for just a bag. I think you're just like buying the BRAND but I really don't know since I don't own anything like it. I think also it's more for the status symbol. I'm just being practical and I can't afford it too. But what I'm really thinking is, if I buy that expensive bag and then it would be stolen, it would be a total waste and I think it would just attract robbers.

To some people, the LV bag worth to buy.To some people,LV bag is not worth to buy.The people who have much money like to buy LV bag,and LV bag shows their wealth.Common people or poor people need not to buy LV bag, they think it is not worth it's value.

i'd rather other valuable item than so luxury lv bag.of course knockoff is ok,its biofidelity hyge nearly reaches 99%+, but its price is one-tenth cheaper than original item. therefore, knockoff handbags are considerable.

Well, personally I am not a fan of Louis Vuitton in particular (I don't really like bags with logos, which most LV bags have), but I can answer you in general regarding designer bags:
Most designer bags are of better quality than knock offs, since they are hand made out of the finest materials. This means they last longer and look better for longer. So you might be able to use your bag all your life if you get a really good one.
Designer bags also do not lose their value. If you get tired of a real designer bag, you can often sell it for a good price in consignment stores or on Ebay. It also makes a great heirloom for your daughter, if you have one or will have one!
Many designers offer a life time guarantee. This means that if the bag breaks, you can take it to the store and have it repaired for free!
