hello vickiduck!
i understand your apprehensions on your forthcoming childbirth, that's understandable considering it's your first! i had the same anxiety when I was about to give birth to my eldest son.
The thing is, don't let your fears engulf you, it would take away the glory of the moment, the actual childbirth. Just be prepared the best way you can for the day such as having your regular pre-natal check-up, don't stress yourself unnecessarily, take proper nutrition and vitamins, and if possible have an ultrasound if that will give you peace of mind as it did to me. You see i was afraid that something would go wrong with the position of the baby or if there is some defect that would affect my natural labor. when you have prepared yourself for the big event in mind and body, when the day comes, coupled with prayers and loving support from your family, you will have nothing to fear about.

Well thats good glad to hear that your having a baby. Don't worry about it, its not all that bad and if I were you I would go to a hospital, it would be easier than some other place.
