i would say ones own website would be the best way to sell products but its also harder process then just selling products on ones blog. it takes a good amount of time and effort to really get the word out on ones website and the products one sells.

The best way to sell products online is to use a place like Facebook, Youtube, or Myspace. You know some website that will get a lot of people seeing it. The more people that see it the more people that will buy and if that doesn't work post it on a website that has to do with whatever it is your selling.

I don't know about your country but in my country at least there are some buying/selling forums that enable you to buy and sell stuff. The most popular one is kaskus.us and indowebster. Kaskus has and advantage that (unlike ebay which charges a hefty fee for listing an item there) it is at the moment totally free to list an item there and I hope it always will be. There is even an optional escrow type of service called rekening bersama to help protect buyers. Maybe you can find a similar forum in your country. You just need to be careful though because there are a lot of frauds with buying an selling things online.

For me, it is best to sell products through blogs and through social networking sites because you get to sell things with people who knows you already. And they can spread this out with people who read your articles.
