living on a very tight buget

long stroy cut short i'm young pregnant and moving out with my partner now we have our place just waiting for the move in date. however we miscalculated our income and outcome and have re worked out we have about £20 a week or food. any ideas of the type of thing we can afford to eat? needs to be good for me as i am currently a human pod.
any help would be great

Yes, cooking yourself really saves a lot of money. And try to eat a lot of vegetables and fruits, since they are generally cheaper than rice, pasta and meat for instance. Just make sure you get seasonal fruits, since they are the cheapest.
