I prefer vegetables and fruits over meat and fish. But nowadays everything is adulterated. Fruits and vegetables are colored and made ripe with the help of carbide. Excessive use of fertilizers and pesticides also ruin the food value. So, in a tough situation like these do intake of natural foods actually helps to keep away diseases??

Yes, eating fruits, vegetables, grains, seeds, nuts, legumes & herbs & these only drastically reduces your chances of ever getting sick as well as reducing the severity of your symptoms as well as the duration if you do get sick. Food adulteration can be eliminated by only choosing certified organic foods. Meat production & consumption is responsible directly for over 25.57 million human deaths a year, every year, worldwide. In the past, 60% of all infectious diseases have been directly linked to meat production & consumption. 75% of emerging diseases are from meat consumption & production. Over the past decade, 92% of the world's deadliest disease outbreaks are from meat consumption & production. These are World Health Organization figures for 2002... they are much worse today. A vegan diet reverses many of the diseases like heart disease & cancer & diabetes that are so very common today.

i love eating just anything. one of my favorites are veggies. theyre part of my menu. it has a high fiber content and may contain anti oxidants vitamins and minerals essential for good health.

It's been proven that organic, naturally grown vegetables and fruits are higher in nutrition than those grown with chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides, so that alone will improve health. Then, if you don't eat the toxins in these chemical laced foods, that will also improve health. A healthy body is able to fight off any kind of disease better than one that is not.

I don't like fruits or vegetables. But I have to take some as my doctor advises. It is a serious issue as the things which I don't like have to eaten for my health improvement but they actually are not helping. But can't help. I myself cannot cultivate fruits and vegetables. I have to rely on others...
