do you get along with your mom?

I get along with my mom for the most part as long as we keep any conversation on general topics. She starts critizing things I do and choices I've made and then it gets heated between us. We used to butt heads a lot when I still lived at home. It got a little better after I moved out. But she still manages to find fault with most things I do. And it bugs me that she complains about the family falling apart yet she doesn't seem to want a closer relationship with me. I keep suggesting going out for dinner or a movie etc but she never seems interested.

My mom is a disciplinarian and I hate her for that, but I love her as she is. Now that I am a mom too, I understand why she is so strict, but I didn't follow her examples, I made my own style of managing my kids.

My mom and I get along pretty well for the most part. She gets on my nerves from time to time but that's nothing new. We do stuff together and have fun most of the time. My mom has a tendency to take things too personally and that gets annoying in a hurry. But my Mom is pretty cool and we get along fine. Its when she starts with the if I was raising those boys this is what I would do nonsense that things get a little complicated. I also can't stand when she talks about me getting married and how she can find me a nice man to take care of me and the boys. But she's mom and I love her.

My mom and I are best friends and always have been.She is always the 1st person I can when I am in need, she never lets me down and gives me the last dime that she has if i need it. I just hope she knows how much I really Love her and I will be there for her when she needs it and when she doesn't...

I understand where you're coming from. I might always understand her, and she might get on my nerves a lot, but still ... that's just the way that she is. And that's fine I guess. Can't really do much about it.

Not that well. We're not that close. We have so many differences thus, lot of things for arguments. But not that bad either. Just fine relationship being mother and daughter.

hello, I get along well with my mom. My mom is my best friend,and i always the one whom i run to when i am having problems. She's the first person in my mind when i need someone to talk with. I love my mom and she's everything to me.
