What is your view about 'gossippy' people?

People who loves to gossip as if their motto in life is to gossip, gossip and gossip are the people you should be wary about. For your own protection, never divulge something private and important to them as they might give "more" flavor and meaning to your story. I guess there are people who can't help but gossip and it pays to stay away from them as well as be careful when you are around them. In my opinion, these kind of people can be really nasty and what they can do to others might be done to you, too. To be safe just simply don't trust these kind of people. They are dangerous to your reputation and besides sooner or later people will know that they are just gossips. But then being a victim of a nasty story is something very disturbing and unnecessary. Gossippy people make me want to totally stay away from them. These people tend to be self-absorbed, looking for attention. Gossip only causes people to get angry, hurt, and resentful.
