When I wake up in the morning, I open my computer and start to browse through the internet, check on my mail, read forums, play games and not noticing that I haven't take the shower yet! After spending 5-6 hours in the internet, I then feel like go take a break and have a shower. I am just concern, is it safe? Is it true that I might loose my sight in time if doing it very often?

Hi! Yes I am serious about it. Lol Well I got this idea from my mom that it is name good for me to wash my face when my eyes are too tired. So it came into my thinking, how about taking a shower. Could it be worse? Actually I never meant that after a shower could instantly loss sight. What I mean was, in time will that affect my eyesight and in the end could lead to loss of site due to overuse. But anyway, thanks to your opinion. I never thought someone will react this way. Lol It's kind of interesting to know how people react in different ways. :D

It should really be healthy for you. After long hours of sweating over that online game your room mates might be about to throttle you because you stink. Kidding. Scientifically though, there showers can't really affect eye strain. What could affect your eye sight is your monitor's brightness. If you really love staring at it for hours at en, I suggest you get yourself a pair of anti-glare eyeglasses.
