What's with these 'special offers' from MyLot?

Today I went to post an answer to someone's discussion that I was notified of by e-mail. When I went to submit the posting, I was sent to a login page and then had to skip several 'offers' before getting to MyLot. And still don't know if my posting was entered. Has anyone else had this experience?

Well, those offers are just promotional ones. If you are interested in them just give your personal details and if you are not then just press the skip button and come out of them. And I don't know if they will share your personal details with third parties or not. So, just do it on your own risk. And don't worry after skipping those offer once you reach the MyLot and what you do in MyLot will stay there.

I don't want to have to page through 5-6 offers every time I try to access mylot. I also saw that my post never made it online and that's what I was trying to do, not sign up for insurance offers or other things.
