I listen to music almost all the time. When I feel mad, I listen to music. When I am in love, I listen to music. When I am sad, I listen to music. When I am happy, I listen to music. It's like the music I listen to is my own way of expressing my feelings to the world without saying a thing to anyone. Music is life.

You're a music lover lynly,
The way I am too, but not all of the time I listen to music. I listen to music because it gives me life, It also help you express the things you want to relay for someone else, it doesn't stop you from existing, it made me relax and calm, and it helps me think great wonders of life, there are so many to mention, so music is my life too.

You're the first one to call me by my full nickname. Credits given to you. Anyway, yes, I am a music lover. I just can't help but bring music into my life. Music is most of the time, my only way of expressing what I feel and letting others know about it. Writing is my other form of expression.

Music definitely helps keep the creative juices flowing. Sometimes, though,I get distracted by the songs and I end up singing along with them and not writing.

Now that I think of it again, I think everything I do has a corresponding song. It makes me think that maybe, just maybe, my life is a beautiful playlist. My life has soundtracks just like the movies.

I love music!!! I listen to music most of the time too. Without music my day is boring. When I'm alone in the house, music is the best company. When I feel sad or depress, I listen to my favorite songs that would eventually make my day turn into a colorful one. Whenever I'm in a stressful situation, I would hook myself up listening to my music and release the tension that I'm having. Indeed, I love music so much!

It's good to hear that music is your therapy. Keep it up, as long as it's good for you.

i totally agree with you. an old record store used to have the tag line ' no music, no life'. in my case, i have to listen to music almost everyday because i work in a record company. listening to music is the most basic task in my work load. but even if this isn't my line of work, i still would definitely be listening to music. i love it so much that i can't imagine functioning without it. :-)

I envy you having that job! I wish I could be working in a record company. Music defines who I am that is why I've been composing songs here and there. My brain just won't stop. I compose songs as I do everyday stuff, which is nuts.

i agree with you. music and songs could be a way to communicate our feelings and emotions. I do listen to music almost all the time as well. Whatever my moods are, there would be a certain kind of music that will compliment what i feel. I love listening to music and singing songs as well. It makes me feel light and makes me relax.

I used to listened musics when i am sad, when i am in the internet cafe. I listened love songs because i felt that my life is still worth to live for despite of all the heartbreaks, the sorrow and the pain. Every time i listened to it i remember my sweet memories with my friends and with my boyfriend.

Did you stop listening to these songs now? I bet at the time, you thought that every love song which talked about heartbreak was about you and you can relate to it? That's okay, I felt the same way too.

I don't listen to music that often. I find that it interferes with my thoughts, concentration, focus, and studies so I kind of avoid it. I really should listen to it more just because I want to be able to sing along to songs, but I'm absolutely horrendous about lyrics and will sing the wrong ones a lot of time. I really should spend the time looking them up so I have more songs I can karaoke. As it is, it's a struggle to sing songs during that time.

Maybe you should choose the kind of music which wouldn't interfere with your thoughts, say, mellow ones? Probably you should go look the lyrics up. In time, you'll get the hang of it.

Music is a way of relaxation. In the field I am in, we use it for guided imagery, though not that much anymore. But still, it is proven to be helpful to people who just want to relax.
