In February Julianne McGregor decided that she would try raising £3,000 for World Cancer Research, in September. Her inspiration was her friend Megan Houchins, who was diagnosed with thyroid cancer ten years ago, and for whom she was a bridesmaid in May. She has now completed her mission, having raised over £4,000, which will be matched by her employers.
