Do you guys do your Christmas shopping early or wait for the major Holiday sale?

Next week my wife and I will start shopping for Christmas presents... quite early I know... but we try to avoid the Holiday rush as much as we can. :p Which leads me to this question:
Do you guys do you Christmas shopping early to avoid the rush or do you opt to wait for the major Holiday sale for bigger savings? Would you rather brave the heavy traffic and consumer stampede for big discounts, or shop in peace, albeit spend a little more? :)

I like to be prepared for the big day way in advance. I'll shop little by little that way I dont spend all day at the store buying christmas gifts. But sometimes I do like to go to the black friday sales just to see if I get any good deals on gifts or just something for myself.

That's actually good advice. :) Shopping for gifts little by little. Starting early would really pay off then. :)

yeah, that's a good idea; less strenuous than doing one-day shopping for all.

I have started my christmas shopping early as i do every year because i dont want to forget or wait till the last minute to get things and i like to get things early and be done and not worrying about things at the last minute and rushing around.
I do like going out though on black friday and getting some deals in as that day is the best christmas shopping day. It will be a blast and i am really organized when doing it. I try and get all the things cut out and taped onto a page that i need at that one store and then i go to the next and next and just keep going and being organized is the only way to even do it i think. I hope to get a laptop this year as i dont have one yet and my mom wants to get a TV and hopefully that will be good for her.
Have a great day and keep mylotting.

Black Friday! I want to experience that once in my life. :p I hear they really really drop prices. It would be the perfect time to buy gifts for yourself as well huh? :p

Hi! Wow, your Christmas shopping next week. Which reminds me to hurry up with my list and do Christmas shopping as well before December. I don't like shopping with tons of people in the mall cause I can't choose what I really like to buy and I don't like heavy traffic as well.

I hear you. :) I usually take my time when I shop for presents. I notice that whenever there's a huge mall sale going on, I fell a bit rushed and I don't like that feeling. I want a relaxed and stress-free shopping time. :p

You are right! It is better to do the Christmas shopping as early as possible. It will surely save you time and money. I love shopping if there are mall sales, I can choose from a lot of things to give to my loved one.

I do shop early before christmas time. Once the month ends with the letters "er" I go roaming around the town and malls to see what gifts I'd buy, and also to buy the things needed for christmas to avoid the rush. I hate shopping a few days just before Christmas. You have to endure waiting in line. But there are times when I see items that I want just before Christmas, then I do shop again.

We do that too. We make sure that most of the Christmas shopping has been done before November... If a sale comes up and we see something, we still buy 'em but at least there's lesser pressure on our part. :) Shopping during the Christmas season could be really stressful... traffic... long lines... we'd rather stay home during these times. :)
